These are two self-portrait projects that emerged in the first year of my animation studies. The first one was just en experiment to try out a rotoscope technique.

Character Design inspired by the citizens of Peru

This is a character design inspired by the clothing and citizens of Peru.

Their clothes are very colorful and hand-woven from the wool of the local alpacas.

The women wear more skirts. Towels serve as pockets to transport children and food. The various hats symbolize the social standing and where do the women come from. the shoes are recyled from truck tires.

men wear a "Chullo". It is tradition that the father knits a Chullo for his son.
